Geelong Amatuers took a comfortable win over Anglesea today away with a positive 54 point win. After a close first quarter, Ammos shot out of the gates extending their lead at every break. Mitchell Day and Matthew Walsh kicked well for Ammos scoring three each as Joshua Westwood was their best. Meanwhile, the Kangaroos best was Ryan Williams. Ammos next week play an important match at home against Torquay while Anglesea take on premiership favourites Barwon Heads.

Torquay continue their undefeated streak as they dismantled Newcomb in a 103 point game. The Tigers gracefully doubled their score after the halftime break to run away with the win. Tiger’s best was Thomas Diamond while Scott Hughes kicked the most goals for the side. Newcombs best was Richard Hollins. Torquay take on Ammos away next weekend while Newcomb battle Drysdale. The power continue to sit with 2 points at the bottom of the ladder.

Modewarre sailed away with a 50-point win today over Drysdale at Mortimer Oval. Drysdale managed to keep up the pace until the final stanza when the Warriors kicked 5 goals to 1. Modewarre’s best was Thomas Worpel while Chris Mamalia kicked four Goals. The Hawks Kyle Davis was best as Daniel Jull bagged the most for his side. Ocean Grove have redeemed themselves after the bye defeating the Coutas by 35-points at home. Queenscliff radar was off in the first stanza unable to effectively kick at goal. After the first break, the Coutas would give up their lead as Ocean Grove ran away with the win. Both sides stay in the same positon on the ladder.
